HOTEL R9 The Yard Kohoku

It was an interesting and (surprisingly) good experience. The staff was very friendly, even for Japan. Everything looked very new and recently built. While the containers looked a bit weird when looking at the photos, in real life they were completely normal and the inside looked just like any other hotel - indistinguishably so. They came with fast internet, their own shower and even individual air conditioning and a window. I didn't expect the latter. Very clean, very affordable, with a free parking spot and a small meal (think curry or yakiudon) included in the very reasonable price (in my case 35 € for a single bedroom) on an easy to reach road, where many restaurants are that are open until late. If I ever needed to go to that region of Saga and needed a place to stay, I would certainly consider this one again.

The room came with a microwave, kettle and fridge with a separate freezer. They give you a free rice meal when you arrive and you can park right by the unit. There was also a nice massage chair in the room.

Parking in front of room. Very convenient. No need to wait for lift. Have restaurants and supermarket nearby.
